Our proactive approach to Coronavirus
We will update this statement over the coming days and weeks and may need to change our approach as the circumstances and Government guidance changes.
At Cartref Caravan and Camping we take great pride in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable stay. The health and safety of our customers and staff is a top priority and we are taking active measures across the park to ensure the risk of Coronavirus remains low.
At present, we remain open but a number of our facilities have now been closed. Our onsite bar, shop and toilet block are closed, and we are therefore recommending that only guests who have all facilities required in their caravans and motorhomes proceed with their upcoming stay.
We think holidays are important and the chance to get away from the noise and clutter of everyday life is fundamentally healthy. The space and natural surroundings here will feel refreshing and at present, we won't take that away. We are taking the advice of medical professionals, the Government and Governing bodies seriously and alongside this belief, we have a duty of care to our campers, our local community, and our team.
For the moment, please consider and action the below:
Call or email us if you have any symptoms or feel you need to cancel your stay due to Covid-19, we are ready to move your holiday to another date or issue a credit voucher that will be valid for 12 months
If you believe that you are vulnerable or have regular close contact with anyone who is, please consider carefully if this is the time for you to come on holiday. The above point will apply for moving your stay
You cannot self-isolate at Cartref Caravan and Camping for the safety of other campers, our team, and our community
Use common sense hygiene practices while here, make use of additional hand sanitisers across the site and follow government advice regarding the best handwashing practice. We would like to reassure guests that our cleaning regime is second to none. We have achieved a 5-star hygiene rating and our staff adhere to strict standards to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the park
If you develop symptoms while on the site, please refrain from using the facilities. Please call the office as soon as possible to notify our teams and support your exit process
We will continue to monitor Government guidance as the situation develops and abide by any procedures that are put in place.
Customers returning from abroad should consult the Government website for information regarding travel. For up to date information please consult the Government website.
